Tea Party & Related Information March 27, 2010 Here is the information we have to date (March 20th) on the Tea Party Express which will be held in Nevada on March 27th. Several changes below. Ann Coulter will be the keynote speaker at the Henderson event. Most of you know there are two events scheduled. One at Noon in Searchlight and the other at the Henderson Pavilion. The event in Searchlight I liken to the 'old wild west' as you will be out in the middle of the desert without many facilities. It's for the rugged individuals. Can be fun, but a challenge. The Henderson event is held in civilization. You can drive there on paved streets and have modern restrooms available. Below you'll find information on: 1. Hotels with special discounts 2. Buses to Searchlight (No longer available and pick up point has been change by order of the Henderson Police.) 3. Special Friday night mixer/meeting with Northern Nevada Grassroots groups. ( have not heard from anyone, so don't know if this happening) 4. Places to park your RV Pleas note that this page will be updated as new information is obtained. P.S. Buses to Searchlight Third parties are organizing buses to take people from the Henderson Pavilion to Searchlight and then follow the Tea Party Buses back to the Henderson Pavilion event. Note: Have been informed the buses are no longer available and the Henderson Police have notified us that people will not be allowed to leave their cars at the lower Pavilion lot. Strongly suggest that anyone who is taking the buses to Searchlight contact the organizer to find out about parking. The only permitted parking at the Henderson Pavilion is for those of you who have a VIP seat with Special Parking. Even that will be a challenge as security at the VIP lot may not permit you to park there at 7 am.
Friday Night Mixer March 26th As of March 22nd there has been confusion on the Friday night meeting. Think the confusion has been corrected and we are meeting at the Skyline as planned. If some one has other information, drop me an email. Write me here
The northern Grassroots leaders and members will be getting together the night before the Tea Party events. We'll met at the Skyline Restaurant & Casino in the Bar area near the dance floor. Note: This location may change, so check back a few days before the Friday to make sure we meet at the same place.

Hwy.Henderson, NV 89011 The location is two blocks north of the Holiday Inn were we have secured the special rates of $59 vs. standard $92/ night. Right now, we have scheduled to meet at 6 pm. We also have a private room for 20-30 people if the leaders want to have a closed meeting. Check this area before you leave to find out about changes we may have to make as to time and agenda (if any).
